I think i'm turning Japanese...oh, I already am!!!

Nobody loves to express themselves through fashion more than the Japanese. Who they are "IS"  what they wear...
Some choose to express themselves through the art of COSPLAY (short for costume play), in which they walk around dressed as their favorite anime or manga character, while others chose to express themselves through Gothic Lolita, in which they dress in a Victorian or Rococco themed outfit with gothic undertones. Although the look is a bit extreme and irrelevant of the era, the Japanese dress themselves with every little detail done to perfection, that in Japan I would consider the lolita look  extremely current  & fashion forward for their country.

Some Lolita brands include: Baby the Stars Shine Bright,  Angelic Pretty, Emily Temple Cute & Metamorphose temps de fille.

Besides the Gothic Lolita/Cosplay subculture in Tokyo, they are also obsessed with mainstream fashion. They devour it whole...
Tokyo street fashion is so amazing...there is nothing quite like it. It is like a cross between European and American fashion meshed together with their own cool spin...
I'm totally obsessed with their fashion...

With cool shopping in Harajuku, Ginza &  Omotosando, it would drive any Fashionista into a buying frenzy!!!
Places like La Foret and Shibuya 109...TDF!

(inside La Foret ...Tokyo)

(Outside Shibuya 109)

My absolute favorite brand in Tokyo is Jane Marple...

...and it doesn't end there!

The kids wear is equally as fabulous..no joke. I actually have a pair of jeans from Trico fields and a vest and jacket from Denim Dungarees...both kids lines. Interestingly enough, I think that Gwen Stefani owns the same exact pair of kids jeans as I do...and we're both adults...kids clothes must be super cool!
Other notable kids lines: Bitz Kids, Tinkerbell, WASK and Boo Foo Woo by Boo Homes
super cool!!!

Gwen Stefani's son Kingston is a fan of Trico Fields

So popular that they opened a Trico Field in Beverly Hills and NYC.

...even my sons rock Trico Field clothes!

  and Bitz Kids (below)...

...Wask & and Boo Foo Woo too!!!

(Batman Outfit by Boo Foo Woo & Racing jacket by WASK)

Do you think you're turning japanese???
